Things to do in Antalya
1. Kaleiçi - Old Town
Historic old town with a blend of cultural landmarks and quaint shops along the cobblestone streets. Features scenic views, local hospitality and a picturesque harbour.
Dating back to Roman times, Antalya’s seafront historic core contains many of the city's must-sees. Following extensive renovations, the district of Kaleici now boasts several hotels, restaurants and shops. Take a stroll down the area’s narrow streets and spot ancient mosques along the way, as well as tons of bars and cafes where you can try local cuisine. Load up on souvenirs from the shops, then head off to the pier for fantastic views of the harbor. You might want to join a historic tour to learn more about the major points of interest in Kaleici such as Hadrian's Gate.
2. Lower Düden waterfall
Scenic waterfalls where fresh waters meet the sea, showcasing natural beauty with walking paths and boat tours for close up views amidst a tranquil setting.
The Lower Duden Waterfalls is a spectacular cascade that occurs as the Duden River spills off the Antalya City cliffs into the sea. To view the falls from above, stroll along Duden Park—where you can also lounge on the grass or grab something to eat in one of the cafes at the observation deck. The falls can be reached by public bus from the center of Antalya. You can also join boat tours departing from the marina in Kaleici. Visit during spring or summer as that's when you can get close to the waterfall with the boat.
3. Perge Ancient City
Ancient site with expansive ruins, including a large amphitheater and roman baths, complemented by informative boards detailing historical context.
The historical site of Perge, 18 kilometers east of Turkey, holds the vast remains of what was once the most propserous city of the ancient world. Enter by passing through the arch of the Roman Gate to be greeted by an amphitheater, the Hellenistic Gate (quite well preserved) and richly decorated remains of the city wall and much more.

5. Konyaalti Beach
Vast pepple beach with scenic views and vibrant promenade lined with diverse dining and live music venues. Footwear recommended for beach walks; boasts a clean and inviting waterfront.
West of Antalya proper, at the end of the tramway line, stretch miles of shingle beach known as Konyaalti. The sand is grayish but quite fine with many restaurants and cafes. The backdrop of the Taurus mountains and the cliffs on either end form a breathtaking scene for a day of swimming and sunbathing.
6. Old Bazaar
Lively bazaar in old town with an array of local and imitation goods, bustling with haggling shoppers and vibrant for people-watching.
The Antalya Bazaar, also called the Old Bazaar, is Antalya's main marketplace. Here, you can stroll through the narrow alleys that are jam-packed with vendors selling handcrafted items, leather goods, cotton ware, and exquisite jewelry. It's a shopper's paradise where you can find unique gifts like Ottoman turbans, Turkish eye amulets, and flavorful spices. The market also has tea trays, pots, and plates for sale. For a unique experience, visit this buzzing market as part of an electric scooter tour. The market is only open on certain days of the week, so check in advance before coming.
